The freighter fleet comprises around seven Boeing 747-400Fs and five Boeing 777Fs. The 747-400Fs, each with a payload near 110 tonnes, have anchored long-haul cargo routes for two decades and are slated for replacement by seven Airbus A350F freighters, with entry into service delayed to roughly 2027. The five 777Fs are flown by Singapore Airlines crews under a crew-and-maintenance arrangement for DHL Express, mainly on Asia to United States express lanes. Bellyhold space on the passenger A350-900, A380, 777-300ER and 787-10 fleets adds significant capacity.
SIA Cargo is based at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), using the SATS air freight terminals and Changi's Airport Logistics Park as its handling base. Changi's position on Southeast Asian and kangaroo-route trade lanes makes it a natural transshipment hub linking Asia-Pacific with Europe, North America and Australia.
