Transliner

SCAC: TRLS

Singapore NVOCC running its own container fleet across Intra-Asia, the Gulf and Red Sea trades

Transliner Group started in Singapore in 2001 and is one of the country's older non-vessel-operating common carriers (NVOCC). Rather than owning ships, it runs its own pool of containers and books space on other operators' vessels, positioning itself as a neutral liner-style option for logistics and forwarding companies that want capacity without a competing carrier's freight interest. Its equipment goes beyond standard dry boxes to reefers, special equipment, ISO tanks and flexitanks.

About Transliner

Transliner Group started in Singapore in 2001 and is one of the country's older non-vessel-operating common carriers (NVOCC). Rather than owning ships, it runs its own pool of containers and books space on other operators' vessels, positioning itself as a neutral liner-style option for logistics and forwarding companies that want capacity without a competing carrier's freight interest. Its equipment goes beyond standard dry boxes to reefers, special equipment, ISO tanks and flexitanks.

A change in ownership structure in 2020 kicked off an expansion across Intra-Asia. The company now quotes coverage of 23 countries and more than 50 ports, reaching from the Far East and Southeast Asia through the Indian Subcontinent and into the Gulf and Red Sea. It runs from a Singapore head office with a network of its own offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India and the United Arab Emirates, backed by a team of over 200 staff.

Transliner has leaned into reefer cargo on the Gulf and Red Sea trades. Its IRX service advertises weekly guaranteed space into Jeddah and Sokhna, linked through Jebel Ali and West Coast India, which ties the Red Sea into its wider Gulf, Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asian coverage. The group's public website operates at translinergroup.com.

Transliner container tracking FAQ

Is Transliner a vessel-owning carrier?

No. Transliner, headquartered in Singapore and founded in 2001, operates as an NVOCC, booking container space on vessel-operating carriers rather than owning its own ships.

What does the SCAC code TRLS identify?

TRLS is the SCAC code for Transliner, identifying it as the contracting NVOCC on bills of lading for cargo it books on other carriers' vessels.

How do I check Transliner tracking availability on Panvaya?

Enter a Transliner container number in the tracker on this page. If the carrier integration is available, Panvaya returns the shipment milestones and route. If it is still being onboarded, you can send a carrier request and ask to be notified when support becomes available.

What is Transliner's SCAC code?

Transliner's SCAC code is TRLS. It identifies Transliner on bills of lading and shipping documents and helps Panvaya match a reference to the correct carrier integration.

Can I track Transliner containers by Bill of Lading or booking number?

Bill of Lading and booking tracking is available after sign-in when Panvaya supports that reference type for Transliner. Carrier capabilities vary, so Panvaya shows a clear availability message instead of returning incomplete tracking data.

Is Transliner container tracking free on Panvaya?

A guest can check one container without signing in when Transliner tracking is supported. A Panvaya account is required for saved journeys, Bill of Lading or booking tracking, exception alerts, and additional shipments.

Why isn't my Transliner container updating?

Carrier milestones can appear after the physical movement occurs. If Transliner is supported and the container is valid, a quiet timeline may mean the next event has not yet been published. If the carrier is not yet available, Panvaya will show an onboarding message and a carrier-request option.

How accurate is the ETA for Transliner shipments?

When Transliner tracking is supported and enough journey data is available, Panvaya updates the displayed arrival estimate as new milestones and vessel information arrive. Any ETA remains an estimate rather than a delivery guarantee.
