Unlike the deep-sea lines, SITC has stayed deliberately focused on intra-Asia trade. Its network links mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea with Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei) and reaches into Bangladesh, Myanmar and India. As of the end of 2024 that covered roughly 78 trade lanes and 82 ports, some run through joint services and slot-exchange arrangements with other carriers.
The fleet is built for short-haul frequency rather than scale. At 30 June 2025 SITC operated 119 vessels of about 185,800 TEU, most of them small feeder ships in the 1,000 to 2,700 TEU range, with the large majority self-owned. Beyond ocean transport, the group runs an integrated logistics arm spanning freight forwarding, shipping agency, container depots and warehousing, which supports its door-to-door service across the region.
