The company grew significantly in 2020 by absorbing the container operations of fellow Korean line Heung-A Shipping, a consolidation encouraged after the Hanjin collapse. Alongside containers, Sinokor runs bulk carriers, tankers, and terminal and logistics arms, with a workforce of roughly 5,300 as of 2025.
